Growing in Judaism Without Losing the People You Love
For many Baalei Teshuvah, one of the biggest fears isn't the change itself, it's how that change might affect the relationships that matter most.

Join me for a three-part series exploring the journey of growing in observance for both individuals and their parents and how to navigate it with clarity, respect, and real connection.
Join me for a three-part series exploring the journey of growing in observance for both individuals and their parents and how to navigate it with clarity, respect, and real connection.
What We'll Explore
The unspoken tension, questions, and emotional realities that come up on both sides of this journey:
Will parents understand?
Will conversations become tense?
Will the relationship stay the same?
Why is my child changing so much?
How do we stay close even if our lives start looking very different?
How do I grow without feeling like I'm leaving my family behind?
What does staying connected actually look like when everything is changing?
These sessions will help you navigate the journey with greater clarity, empathy, and real tools.
Rabbi Meir Horowitz together with his parents share their family’s experience of navigating this journey while protecting the relationships that mattered most.
This is not theory. It is a real story with real lessons.

I went through this journey myself growing in observance while remaining deeply connected to my family. The insights I share come from living this experience, working through it, and continuing to navigate it in real life. My hope is that these sessions will help others walk this path with greater understanding, respect, and connection.
